*EXAMPLE: Actual HP rating with Ford #M-9407 Dual Pumps depends on injector size. Higher pressure - lower flow injectors  use more pump capacity than lower pressure - higher flow injectors.

 

HOW IT WORKS - While dyno and street testing, our On Board Data Logger told us that fuel flow was less at night when the lights, stereo etc. were on. The voltage to the pump was varying between 12 and 13.5 volts and fuel was being reduced up to 15%. Further testing in our Fuel Flow Lab indicated that by elevating the voltage to the pump we could safely increase fuel capacity by as much as 50%. The Kenne Bell BOOST-A-PUMP™ does just that - and it automatically maintains the pre-set voltage or % increase with as little as 10 volts at the battery.

    The competition boost-a-pump is working well and as advertised so far. Everything is perfect and the Hobbs switch is not being used( which is a good thing imo). I have had a Hobbs switch fail on me and it wasn't pretty. I will say that the instructions we got with the BAP were for an older car, 2007-2008 I think and the wire colors were off as were other items inn the instructions. It seems like they would update the instructions for each year model and maybe they do, but my year got mixed up. Anyway it doesn't really matter when you order from Van. All you have to do is call him and he calls you back 5 minutes later to answer your questions. I called him at midnight for a question on my BMR suspension and he called right back and helped me finish the install and I called him and woke him up i think on the BAP install and he still called me back to help. That kind of service is worth extra money, but his prices are as good or better than everyone else. So Van gets 5 stars and the BAP only gets 4 stars for this one.

    I have a 08 gt500 and i was maxing my pumps at 100% duty cycle so i installed the Kenny Bell Boost-a-pump and now my futy cycle went down to 75%. It was easy to install. I will help the life of my pumps couse they working harder to keep my fuel pressure up but now they dont have to work so hard.

    easy to install as long as you take your time, great product, like the fact that its got a pressure switch so pump is not constantly pushing 17.5 volts. I hooked up a digital led display so i could monitor voltage to the pump. At 5psi my guage reads 17.5 volts.

    Just had this installed. Nice to have the peace of mind that I won't go lean under boost conditions. The instructions did not match the 2010 GT500 wiring and had to break out a schematic.

    The Kenne Bell Dual BAP Works as advertised. The included insturctions were clear and provided pictures and diagrams and for someone that is somewhat mechanically minded it will be easy to hook up. My pumps befor the BAP were at max duty cycle at factory red line and now I have raised the Red line and still have plently of fuel to spare. Also Highly recommend the John Lund tune to go with the BAP.
