This is our latest design in reduced weight and improved looks, 2 pc front rotors for 2007-2011 GT500's and 2011 Mustang GT's with 14" Brembo brake package. These rotors have Hardcoated aluminum hats with plated grade 8 attaching hardware. The rotors are directionally vaned, slotted, stress relieved and clear zinc plated for a nice lasting appearance.
The weight savings are as follows:
Front OEM rotor weighs 25.32 lbs each. Our rotor weighs 19.8 lbs for a weight savings of 5.52 lbs each and a total front weight savings of 11.04 lbs for the pair. This is a typical weight savings you find in a pair of lightweight wheels that cost considerably more than what these rotors cost. So with the addition of a pair of lightweight wheels you could easily remove 20 lbs of unsprung parasitic rotating mass off of the heavy front end of a GT500.
These front rotors are recommended only for street and strip duty.
