EBC Yellowstuff is an aramid fiber-based brake compound that delivers high braking efficiency from cold, making it one of the first compounds suitable for both street and track driving. These pads don't need a warm-up and become stronger with the heat of intense driving. They are not low dust pads; for a premium low dust street pad, EBC Redstuff is recommended.
EBC rotors are crafted from OE spec grey cast iron, the same material used in new car production, and many are made entirely in our UK foundry. Presently, all rotors sold in Europe and the UK, and most of those for the US, are made in Britain. Our foundry is always enhancing its range, but like any brake manufacturer, EBC sometimes needs to source some rotors from approved external suppliers to complete our international offerings. Unlike our competitors, we're transparent about our sourcing. Although we share the global disappointment that no US foundry remains to supply these parts, we ensure that any rotors we do purchase meet stringent specifications for material composition, structure, and mechanical properties, and each one is individually tested for runout using our specialized equipment.
