Bluestuff NDX is a high-friction sport and racing material suitable for aggressive street driving and some track applications. It has shown considerable success on the track with high-quality aftermarket calipers, featuring multi-piston systems with superior release, cooling, and larger rotors. However, its success with street-based calipers is limited, where challenges like pad size and caliper drag can test any brake material.
The primary benefit of EBC Bluestuff NDX lies in its initial bite at cold temperatures, progressive brake feel, and the capacity to halt a vehicle completely. These qualities have contributed to its compliance with ECE R90 brake safety regulations, with certification completed and obtained as of July 2011. While there are older street-based caliper systems that may still pose challenges for Bluestuff NDX, similar to our competitors' materials, no material is perfect for all older street-based caliper systems on the track.
